imageA camping trip is a fun family outing and thru some modern advancements is now a lot easier to do then it was 30 years ago. One of the ways is how you can store your food. An ice chest filled with ice used to be the old standby for keeping food cold. But your food was only good for as long as your ice remained solid. Today’s campers have another option of bringing a mini fridge with them.
A mini fridge can easily be plugged into your RV or trailer with some kind of electric power source like solar panels or a small generator. The advantages of a mini fridge are obvious. The food or beverages you bring and store it in is going to remain cold just like if you brought your own refrigerator on your camping trip. A lot of times you may want to buy something local where you are at and having a mini fridge makes it a lot more convenient to do that then having to stuff it into an ice chest.
You will also save yourself time with not having to go buy ice every day or even twice a day or more depending where you are.
A mini fridge is also small enough that it is not going to take up a lot of storage space. Campers have a lot of gear and a mini fridge will not get in the way of everything. They along with their generator if needed will easily fit in the back of a truck.
